Photo Release: Don Mansius Recognized by Maine Forest Products Council with Doug Denico Forester Award

NEWRY – The Maine Forest Products Council (MFPC) awarded Don Mansius of Appleton with the organization’s Doug Denico Forester Award at its 62nd Annual Meeting in Newry on Monday, September 19.

The award, presented by MFPC Treasurer Peter Triandafillou, recognized Mansius for 31 years of exceptional service in advancing public policies supporting sustainable forest management with the Maine Forest Service.

“Don has guided natural resource public policy over the years with the knowledge and skills of a professional forester,” said Patrick Strauch, Executive Director of the Maine Forest Products Council.
