The Maine Forest Products Council cordially invites our members to the 63rd Annual Membership Meeting!
Join us at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Sunday & Monday, the 17th & 18th of September.
The event will start on Sunday evening at 6:00pm with a BBQ-style buffet and happy hour. Monday morning will begin with an early morning breakfast at the hotel.
Immediately after breakfast, the Annual Membership Meeting will commence. Items on the agenda will include an election of officers, a full report of the 131st Legislature, as well as a discussion of what to expect in the second session.
Our guest speakers will present a program focused on energy costs, forest market development, and paper market trends. We have also invited Governor Mills to speak with the group. The afternoon will feature tours of several wood manufacturing facilities.
Later that evening we will enjoy a social hour followed by an auction hosted by the entertaining team of Jim Robbins and Peter Triandafillou. The evening will culminate in a tribute to MFPC award recipients.
As always, the event is a chance for members of the forestry community to reflect, learn, and celebrate our industry and the people who make it work.
