The Maine Forest Products Council held its annual golf tournament on Thursday, July 9 at Bangor Municipal Golf Course. The tournament is named the 'Don White MFPC Classic' to honor the memory of a longtime proponent of the organization and the golf tournament.
We would like to take a moment to thank the companies that sponsored this event, and the golfers who participated. The beautiful day highlighted the best of Maine summer! This year's event was a great success. We had an impressive 33 teams stretching the capacity of the golf carts. Luckily, Rob Jarvis, the incredible Golf Pro at Bangor Municipal knows how to run a tournament and we could not have made the day a success without him.
This year we had sponsorships and teams representing over 50 companies and organizations.

Acadia Insurance, Advantage Capital, AF&PA, American Forest Management, Bangor Savings Bank, BBC Land, Bell Lumber & Pole, BerryDunn, Caislean Title, Champeau, Cianbro, CMP, Cross Insurance, Family Forestry, FarmCredit East, Ferdinand Law, Fontaine Lumber, Haley Ward, Huber Engineered Woods, Huber Resources Corp., JD Irving (Irving Woodlands LLC), KeyBank, LandVest, Louisiana Pacific Building Solutions, Lucas Tree Experts, Machias Savings Bank, Maibec, Maine Woods Company, Mid-South Engineering, Northwest Forest Management, PalletOne, Pierce Atwood, Pleasant River Lumber/A&A Brochu LLC, Prentiss & Carlisle, Preti Flaherty, ReGenerate, Robbins Lumber, SAM-ILA, SAPPI, Seven Islands Land Company, Team Collins, The Conservation Fund, Timber Resource Group, UMaine School of Forest Resources, United Insurance, Verrill, LLP, Wagner Forest Management, Ltd., Weyerhaeuser
