About the “Outstanding Environmental Manager Award” This award recognizes a distinguished career, dedicated to protecting Maine’s environment, and individual leadership in advocating for sustainable forest products industry regulatory framework. An outstanding environmental manager must have integrity, credibility, and honesty within our industry, but perhaps more importantly with those who regulate our industry, including governors, senators, congressional representatives, legislators, and regulators. Our industry benefits immensely from this candidate’s intellect, dedication and work ethic.
